You can book a bus from Iraq to Türkiye online with Wb3den Transport: daily 2+1 coaches from Erbil to Istanbul, Ankara and Diyarbakır, and departures from Sulaimaniya and Kirkuk to Istanbul and Ankara, crossing at Ibrahim Khalil/Silopi, taking about 9 hours (Diyarbakır) to about 25 hours (Istanbul), with fares from about 24,250 IQD per seat shown in dinars. From Baghdad, take a shared car to Erbil first (about 5 hours) and connect to the coach.

How booking works

Border and documents

All lines cross at Ibrahim Khalil (Zakho) into Silopi. A valid passport for every traveller, plus a valid Turkish visa or residence permit for Iraqi citizens. Border processing takes one to several hours and is included in the advertised journey time.
